Gennaro Sferra emigrated to the United States in 1891, selling his delicate
Venetian cuffs and collars to the prosperous families up and down the
Eastern coast. Discovering a niche for such discriminating linens, Sferra
officially launched his business in 1905 in Venice, Italy. Sferra's
two sons have continued, as well as expanded, the family-born trade,
integrating the double damasks of Ireland, the Alecon laces of France,
and the Swiss embroideries of Madeira. Sferra Bros. creates unquestionably
appealing linens of refinement with meticulous attention to the details.
With over a century's worth of history behind them, Sferra Bros. brings
an historical standard of excellence into your home.
